Overview

GVTrack is a Chrome extension built for Irish HR teams to track Garda vetting (NVB) application statuses. This policy explains how data is handled within the extension.

Data Storage

All data entered into GVTrack — including staff names, reference numbers, dates of birth, and vetting statuses — is stored exclusively on your device using Chrome's built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local).

No data is transmitted to any server operated by the developer. No accounts are required. No cloud storage is used.

What We Do Not Collect

GVTrack does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following: personal identifiable information, usage analytics, tracking data, cookies, or any data with third parties.

External Connections

The extension makes two types of outbound connections:

The extension makes limited outbound connections solely to check NVB application statuses and verify the extension version. No personal data is included in any of these requests.
